Dahlia teaches belly dancing through Dance Fusion International Studio and Westminster Parks and Recreation. Belly dance is an enjoyable and healthy way to build self-esteem, confidence and poise while learning a beautiful, ancient dance form. Beginning Belly Dance Level 1
Learn the basics of belly dancing while improving flexibility, balance and muscles tone. Basic hip and ribcage movements, isolations, arm and hand movements, shimmies, undulations and belly rolls are covered.

Intermediate Belly Dance
After mastering the basics, students can transition to this level for more advanced technique, layering with arm positioning, level and tempo changes, cymbal playing and veilwork. Students will learn a short choreographed routine.

Belly Dance Fitness
The Belly Dance Fitness Class offers basic movement with layers of difficulty to challenge students of all levels. Students may drop in anytime during the session.

It is recommended that students repeat the beginning level at least twice for complete material. The Belly Dance Fitness Class offers non-progressive material every week for students of all levels who may want to drop in anytime during the session. Make up classes require instructor’s permission and must be done within the current session.
